British rockers ARCTIC MONKEYS are so annoyed with an unauthorised band biography they are writing their own book detailing their rapid ascent to the top of the UK charts. The I BET YOU LOOK GOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR four-piece hope to have the book in shops by Christmas (06). An insider says, "They didn't even know the guy who wrote it and were annoyed he was cashing in on their story."

Oh man. No word yet if How I Rose To Stardum And Was A Burnout All Before I Was 21 is the official title of the book. Oooooh. Am I being mean? I love those guys but hasn't it been enough this year with all the AM talk/hype/mania? Let's hope they fade away for a bit before the sophomore effort. Perhaps then they'll maintain the little bit of respect fans still have for them.
