How exciting! He shares the deets at Junk Mag: *I just got back from the Project Runway finale show at Bryant Park. I got so f*cking emotional and excited, I am a complete endorphin mess right now. One of the top 3 finalists used my music for their runway show today, and when it started playing I just lost it. I looked over and saw Victoria f*cking Beckham and Heidi f*cking Klum bobbing their heads to the music I created in my bedroom. Victoria. Beckham. My music. Spring Fling Updates: DJ, Drinks, Charity
We have some pretty awesome updates about this Saturday's show at The Delancey in NYC.First off, DJ/Singer/Photographer/Awesome person Brad Walsh has volunteered his cut-throat dj services for the night. Brad will be spinning until 11ish when he will be replaced by a couple of drunk sluts.
Second, drinks. From 8-9pm well drinks are 2-4-1, yum. From Midnight until the last band ends, PBRs are $3 and after the last band, drinks are going back on sale at buy one get one free. Awesome. I strictly drink whiskey sours when I host, just to let you know.
Lastly, Matt and I will be donating a portion of our profits for the night to City Harvest, a great organisation here in New York, so come out and show your support!:
City Harvest aims to both feed the hungry and curb waste. The organization retrieves excess food from all over the New York City and delivers it to community food programs throughout the five boroughs. You can volunteer to help pick-up and deliver food. www.cityharvest.org

Brad Walsh & The Oohlas @ Don Hill's (MisShapes): Like Hot Coals In A Fire
Last night Jen & I donned our eyeshadow, blazers & dancing shoes to check out our beloved Brad Walsh at his first ever live performance alongside the heavily-buzzed Oohlas over at MisShapes.
If you recall, the insanely talented Brad Walsh DJ-ed our Holiday Party earlier this month (you can thank him for the mayhem that erupted after Nous Non Plus's set ended and 'Sexyback' began!). He also is the official photographer for Stolen Transmission and has had his pics featured in Junk and Spin magazines, just to name a few. We were beyond excited to see Brad in the flesh, performing tracks from his debut LP, Prior To.
By the time his back-up singers took the stage around 12:45, there was already a roaring cheer of 'I LOVE BRAD WALSH!' Brad's dance-a-rific set included album-opening 'Available' & 'Do It In The Street', and closed with a ridulously fantastic cover of Stacey Q's always-enjoyable 'Two Of Hearts' (also on Prior To).
For those listening closely during 'Two Of Hearts', Brad threw in a few lines of Madonna's 'Sorry' to add fuel to his fire. A truly brilliant debut performance. Kudos, Brad!

Immediately following Brad's electrifying electronic set, MisShapes was ablaze once again with pulsating guitars and some exquisite drumming, provided by The Oohlas.
The Oohlas reminded me of a modern-day Veruca Salt or Girls Against Boys. Their sound can be easily referenced back to mid-90s alterna-rock but has some quality to it that is entirely their own and, well, fresh. I predict 2007 being a very nice year for The Oohlas.

Oh yeah, to cap off the night, The Raveonettes DJed! They threw on some classics: The Stone Roses, The Clash & My Bloody Valentine. And they even took a hot second to pose for The Music Slut. God love 'em!
