Maybe that should be the name of his next show.
He's a funny funny man, but quite creepy should you ride the F train with him.
For those totally out of the loop, Demetri is a comedian/musician/joke-teller from NYC who is now moonlighting on The Daily Show.
I noticed him as we were both waiting for the arriving train at 14th Street and of course, wound up sitting directly across from him. While I was amused at first that Demetri was sitting nearby to me in khaki shorts (yikes!) and Nikes, I quickly turned my head and began to focus on other things. However, Demetri did not.
Instead, what he did was STARE DEEPLY INTO MY EYES AND START TO WRITE THINGS WITH A PEN, ONTO HIS PALM. It was almost as if he was making a sketch of me but I saw that he was writing words. Was I his muse? Is my Jewfro really that embarassing? Does he want to have a staring contest with me? Does he want to sleep with me?
All questions I asked myself from his departure (I think it was Broad-Laf for those curious) until I got back into Brooklyn.
What's going on with Demetri??
