Thanks to a bulletin the Flaming Lips posted a couple of weeks ago, I have been introduced to Colour Music- a trio from Stillwater, OK.Their music actually reminds me a lot of the Flaming Lips. It's happy, slightly left of center, country-rock-folk. Upon first clicking on their MySpace, I left their music streaming for the rest of the day and immediately wrote to the band asking for an mp3, I was so excited to share them with you all. So enjoy!

Unfortunately, I don't see any tour dates set for NYC (though if you are in Texas and Colorado you are in luck) and surprisingly, they aren't on a label. Someone scoop them up! And hey, thanks Flaming Lips.
