If I Told You What I Had To Do Today...

I don't think you would actually believe me, but I'll tell you anyway. I was picking up three Himalayan guides from Nepal at JFK who had never left Nepal but were on their way to study at the University of Bridgeport for three years...

See, I told you.

Matt already covered our fantastic night of shows last night, but I thought I would add a few pictures and a word on The Annex opener.

The Tin Bangs opened the show last night at The Annex. I thought they were alright but the person I was with thought them a bit screamy. I think they have the solid underpinnings of a good rock group though. The boys, for some reason, were in need of equipment so The Hourly Radio and Stellastarr lended a hand and pitched in their instruments- note the Stellastarr drum kit in the background.

The Hourly Radio's show is the most photogenic I have ever been to. Now that I have seen them a couple of times, the smoke effects before they go on stage is enough to get me giddy.

I'd like to send a big shout out to Xiaoting whom I finally got to meet in person last night. Holla!

Props to the two girls dancing in front of We Are Americana last night. Way to get your freak on. I love this picture.

Thanks Jess, Rob, Kurt and Dennis for a great show and also being the nicest/cutest rock band I know. I'll give you sweaty hugs any day of the week.
