Interesting article from NME this morning.
I kinda need both of these albums.
Two Radiohead tribute albums on the way
Crunk and lullabies covers anyone?
Radiohead are set to be the subject of two new tribute albums.
'Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Radiohead' is an album designed 'to introduce your child to rock's smartest band', and contains versions of tracks including 'Paranoid Android', 'Knives Out' and 'There There', performed on instruments such as glockenspiels and vibraphones.
Another tribute album, entitled 'Skeet Spirit, A Crunk Tribute to Radiohead', is available to download for free. Created by DJ Gyngyvytus, featured tracks include 'No Sizzuruprises', 'Flamboastin' Android' and 'Talk Show Hoes'.
These are the latest in a long line of Radiohead tribute albums, which have included classical, dub and electronica versions of the Oxford band's songs.
'Skeet Spirit, A Crunk Tribute to Radiohead' is available to download on Zoomzip.kil.la/skeetspirit/, while 'Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Radiohead' is released on August 29 through Baby Rock Records.
