Band Of York played one of their best sets that I've seen last night over at Rock & Rare for the weekly Fabulaun party. In June, I witnessed The Rogue Elephants at Fabulaun (and they were great); Band Of York's blazing 6-song set matched the intensity of that night, if not, surpassing it.
Billy Jean and the gang have really transformed themselves into a top tier live act. Their shows are truly a spectacle consisting of brilliantly crafted glamtastic sing/shout-alongs. I've now seen the band close to a dozen times (including our very own Anniversary Party back in July) and will continue to support these charming lads... even if they're forced to play for under a half hour!
Setlist:
Dynamite Alena
Miss Modernage
Tear Me Down
Twisted
Monday Love
Take Me Home
Their next gig is October 21st @ The Delancey (w/ El Jezzel). The Sluts will be there with our best party hats on.
MP3: 'I'm Your Man'
