Sufjan Stevens and My Brightest Diamond will be the latest entries into NPR.org's live concert series, with a webcast of their performance at Philadelphia's Tower Theatre tonight. The stream will begin at 8 p.m. with My Brightest Diamond, followed by Sufjan and his "Chinese Butterfly Orchestra". NPR sez, "For each performance Stevens dresses as a giant hawk while the band members wear large butterfly wings," and "Stevens has told audiences he's working on a series of new songs about birds and has been playing the 'Lord God Bird' song he originally wrote for NPR."
