How long have we been patiently waiting for this? It seems like forever, doesn't it? Actually, it's been a little over 3 years since The Rapture's groundbreaking debut, Echoes. In the thousand or so days since Echoes initial release, the boys have written over 30 songs. Ten of those tracks make it onto the sophomore LP, Pieces Of The People We Love, and what a fine job they did in their selection process. Each song stands on its own two feet and proves that the boys can successfully pull off being funky, scintillating and err...white (Thanks Paul!). Unlike the debut, many songs on Pieces actually feature a combination of Matt and Luke on vocals. They've never sounded better together. This album has a vast potential to become one of the greatest albums of the year. There, I said it. Listen yourself....
