Ok, it took a little while but I'm totally hooked on M. Ward. I was quite the fan of Transistor Radio but Post-War is just a masterpiece.
It brings to mind early Bob Dylan, Heartbreaker-era Ryan Adams and even Johnny Cash. Joan As Policewoman, in our interview last week, went on and on and on about his talent and I can totally see why now. His songs are both heartfelt and heartbreaking, strong and subtle simultaneously. I adore him.
