One of my favorite local bands, Pela, is back with Exit Columbia Street! An ode to their new digs, or as they declare it, 'this bumpy two lane street hugging the waterfront of Brooklyn. The view at times of the city is remarkable sometimes and other times just something in the distance. We lived there quite awhile.'
It's available now on iTunes.
To commemorate its release, they will be in town for the following shows, in and around CMJ.
Oct 31 @ B61 Halloween party, Brooklyn
Nov 2 @ *CMJ* White Rabbit Lounge sponsored by Gothamist, New York, NY
Nov 2 @ *CMJ* TBA sponsored Amp'd Mobile, New York, NY
Nov 3 @ *CMJ* Sin-e sponsored by KEXP and Friction, New York, NY
Nov 5 @ *CMJ* Union Pool sponsored by The Militia Group and Death and Taxes Magazine
MP3s: 'Good Foot On A Bad Doorstep' (banjo version) &
