Jonsi The Publisher

Yes, it's true. Jonsi, otherwise known as the brilliant frontman of Sigur Ros, is publishing a book with his boyfriend, Alex. You may remember Alex's name and/or designs, as he is the head of Toothfaeries - the guys and gals who create those hand-crafted Sigur Ros shirts you can pick up at their shows. jónsi and his boyfriend alex will publish a picture book called ‘riceboy sleeps’ on friday, november 24th. the book will be for sale in selected book and music stores in reykjavík, such as smekkleysa, 12 tónar, mál og menning and kisan, and it is likely to be sold internationally in early 2007. on friday from 17:00 the guys will be holding an exhibition with selected pieces on display in gallerí turpentine on ingólfsstræti 5 in reykjavík. feel free to stop by. if you want to you could also check out the riceboy sleeps website at www.riceboysleeps.com.
