Bear with me baby, I'm a little behind...
Kind of sums up the length of time I've had Aberfeldy's latest, Do Whatever Turns you On; but the follow up to 2004's Young Forever is well worth getting your mitts on if you haven't already. It's got the same sense of playfulness and strong harmonies, evident from opener "if...then", but it's also a lot more mellow as well (almost reminiscent of Teenage Fanclub, but not quite); without losing the musical inventiveness. There are some great 80s style synth turns on "Uptight": come on baby - you might as well dance all night...
