Clap Your Hands Fans Give Satan Many Dance Moves

OK, as most of you know, I'm not the HUGEST Clap Your Hands fan. That's not to say I don't enjoy their catalog from time to time, but I never really was transfixed with their music the same way the buzz machine back in early '05 was. Regardless of my thoughts on the band, I find it highly entertaining at the many many misnomers that come up upon a query for Hype Machine's most popular tracks.

Fans of the band, eager to hear new/live tracks have really butchered the song title 'Satan Said Dance', which will be featured on their upcoming '07 release, Some Loud Thunder. The song is actually one of my favorites from the band (fantastic live!) but wow....'Satan Dance Dance', 'Satan Can Dance', 'Satan Don't Dance' (Jerry, are you in on this one?), 'Satan Safe Dance' (incidentally, is that like 'The Safety Dance'??). All these titles have been thrown around over the last few months for the simply titled 'Satan Said Dance'.

Somebody, stop the insanity... and dance! Satan said so.
