We all know you secretly love 'Sister Golden Hair' by America. Admit it, it floats around on your ipod, randomly appearing for a quick double take...or is that just me?Well, it seems that a whole indie smorgasbord of stars are also into America and are helping the 70's folk rock group out with a new album. Featured on the first disc are 12 new songs which teams Ryan Adams, Ben Kweller, members of My Morning Jacket, Fountains of Wayne and Nada Surf with the aging rockers. The album is produced by Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne) and James Iha (MisShapes/Smashing Pumpkins). The second disc features all the classic America songs you could ever want...but mainly the two you know.
