Via NME: David Bowie, The White Stripes and Led Zeppelin are among the musicians, authors and critics have written about some of the most unforgettable concerts they've attended in a new book. The recollections appear in 'The Show I'll Never Forget: 50 Writers Relive Their Most Memorable Concert-going Experience', edited by Sean Manning.
The book is available now in hardback and on January 15 in paperback. It features first-person accounts by Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth, The New Pornographers' Carl Newman, authors including Daniel Handler and Jerry Stahl, comic writer Harvey Pekar and many other notable figures.
The contributors write about some of the remarkable shows they've attended by artists including Metric, Prince, Public Image Ltd. and Led Zeppelin.
*And yes, if you haven't read it already, another new Arcade Fire track has leaked, this time, Neon Bible's closer - 'My Body Is A Cage', grab it quickly over at I Guess I'm Floating!!). Hmm...body is a cage, heart is an apple, any guesses on what Arace Fire's brain could be?*
