Just read this from the news section of the Sigur Ros web site: on the 26th of february, the band will take part in a tibet house fund raiser in new york. other artists performing at the event include philip glass and patti smith. sigur rós will most likely perform just one song at this event in carnegie hall. ticket information is available on the carnegie hall website.Ahh!!
If you recall, last year I went to the Tibet Benefit show @ Carnegie and got to see Antony, Sufjan, Damien Rice and others perform for under 10 minutes each. It was so disappointing (as was my atrocious seat)... read my review here!
Should I break my own promise and check out the benefit again? Does someone want to buy me a floor ticket for this show?? I can't bear to sit in the nosebleeds yet again!
