Hmm, already too big for their own shoes? Or does somebody need to get the stick out of their collective asses?
MTV UK reports: Klaxons have revealed to MTV News they turned down the offer of supporting Muse at the new Wembley stadium. The "new ravers" can count the Devon rockers as huge fans - Muse recently said one of their favourite gigs of last year was a Klaxons gig - and it was after one of the new boys' shows that they made their exciting offer.
"It was the drummer who asked us," Klaxons singer and bassist Jamie Reynolds told us. "It was quite a drunken night down the pub and I just said, 'Nah'. I don't know why, I didn't mean it! "I have watched them from when they first started. I first saw them at Glastonbury and for them to say that (about one of our live shows) is a massive complement."
Singer James added, "(He) got the chance to open up Wembley stadium. Offically the first ever gig at Wembley and Jamie turned it down!" However the boys, who look set to get their first top ten hit this week with the 'Golden Skans', are hoping that the Muse boys haven't given up on them completely. "We haven’t turned it down officially and we're trying to sort it out," a sheepish Jamie said. "Please! We would love to play!"
