Ouch! Seems like frontman of Bloc Party, Kele, was hit in the face at last night's gig in Aberdeen, just two songs into the set (during Silent Alarm's 'Positive Tension'). The band took a short break and came back to finish the rest of the gig, although reports are that the band was in poor spirits after the incident.
Web site Aberdeen Music reports the following: "It was a pretty good gig in the end, but aside from a couple of songs they didn't look they were having fun and the coin-throwing incident made the rest of the gig feel a bit awkward."
Bloc Party have 2 sold out shows scheduled for the end of March here in NYC at United Palace Theater. Let's hope any idiotic fans in attendance can behave themselves! Or at least throw some dollar bills instead!
