Prefix has directed The Music Slut to a new YouTube feature highlighting the sample techniques of Daft Punk, French electro-pop extraoridnaires. It appears as if most of the band's biggest hits have been direct samples, or, er, replicas of disco hits from the '70s/early '80s. Hmm. While this doesn't make Daft Punk any less amazing (find me one person who can honestly say they don't bust a move to Homework or Discovery's singles), it perhaps puts their credibility/orginality in question.
Your thoughts?
