Wednesday, the city of Boston was brought to a stand still by the Cartoon network and a few strategically placed Light Brights. I find this hilarious and a bit scary. Boston is now getting reprimanded by the federal government for not having an adequate strategy to deal with terrorist threats- the city was shut down for hours.
I also find the fact that New York Newsday's Michael Amon had the same exact thoughts as me when he wrote today's article, entitled: NYC ignores cartoon villain, Beantown shuts down. SUBTITLED: New York to Boston: Get over it, pretty amusing. Nice one Mikey.
Peter Berdovsky, one of the two men arrested for planting the Light Brights, sought asylum in America from Belarus after "he had been accosted at gunpoint over his pro-democratic positions" in his homeland 11 years ago. He has now been arrested for a prank in the country to which he fled but apparently, he is being good humoured about the whole thing.
Boston, this one's for you: OK Go- Get Over It
