Let me explain.I'm referring to the use of The Rapture's 'Whoo Alright.. Yeah Uh Huh' as the theme song to the new Bravo reality series (which I'm sure I'll get suckered into loving, a la Top Chef), Top Design. For non-Bravo viewers, the commercials leading up to the series premiere last week were incessant and CONSTANT.
Todd Oldham, the phrase 'wall to wall design' and 'WAYUH' playing over and over and over and over and over. That's what you (may have) missed. The commercial was on a loop, every 5 minutes flat.
My question to you is: was anyone else particularly annoyed/intrigued with the show/channel's selection of The Rapture as the official soundtrack to the show? I love the track (and everything The Rapture touches) more than life itself, but was it a good fit with Top Design? Your thoughts in the comments.
