After teasing us with their covers EP, Take Ecstasy With Me/Get Up, at the end of '05, !!! fans, including myself, have been anxiously awaiting the full-length follow up to Louden Up Now. Well, it has arrived, and it's fantastic! Myth Takes's ten tracks begin right where Louden Up Now left off, full of high energy which only increases as the album progresses. 'Bend Over Beethoven', which clocks in at a little over 8 minutes, is easily this album's 'Me And Giuliani'. The epic track, the one that you are dying to hear live, the one that you put on your workout/dance/freakout playlist. Nearly every tune on the album is met with that same intensity and it's intoxicating!
While some might criticize !!! for not varying much from their core sound, I have to applaud them for it. Their sound is distinct and consistently entertaining. Well well WELL worth the wait!
