After taking the advice of the forum posters over at 18 Seconds Before Sunrise, I followed a link to this article about the Indian government and orphanages that are to be set up within the year for unwated babies.You have to look closely within the article to spot the Sigur Ros reference, but I'll save you the trouble of searching. The image to the left was the main photo within the feature. Take a look behind the woman featured. Yes, that is the baby/alien creature associated with Sigur Ros' breakthrough LP, Agaetis Byrjun (pic here!). Isn't that totally random? Especially as the backdrop to this particular article.
Is Sigur Ros huge in India, and I had no idea? Totally weird.
In related SR news, the recording of the new album is coming along quite nicely, we hear. Expect a fall/winter release!
