Hmm, seems like Trent and his fellow Nails have been strongly influenced by The Arcade Fire's recent media blitz to get the word out about Neon Bible. Product Shop is reporting that there are not one, but various 'secret' websites out there, all giving little snippets of info about Nine Inch Nails upcoming release, Year Zero. If you recall, before you downloaded the leaked version of Neon Bible, Arcade Fire set up NeonBible.com complete with song lyrics, live videos, a flashing neon bible (har har) and various other tomfoolery.
Not only that, but Trent has set up a HOTLINE (sound familiar?) giving scattered album info, song samples and generally creating a buzz around the project. For those curious, the # is 310-295-1040. Dial away!
Want to hear some of the new NIN tracks? I suggest you pay a visit to The Hype Machine ASAP, as a few songs from Year Zero have already found their way to the web. Year Zero will be out in the US on April 17th. Neon Bible's official release is on March 6th.
