Amy Winehouse Is The New Pete Doherty

Following the much-publicized cancellations of her 2 scheduled Shepherd's Bush shows in London last week, Product Shop NYC is reporting that songstress Amy Winehouse has given notice that she will NOT be appearing at SXSW, as originally planned.

While rumors are circulating that the cause of the cancellations is either a nasty break-up or continuing drug problems, it's unsure exactly what's going on but lord knows that these venues, and the ticketholders are not pleased, in the slightest.

Amy has not yet opted out of her very sold-out Bowery Ballroom show this Tuesday in NYC but based on this latest chain of events, I find it highly doubtful that the show will go on.

However, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
