Indie-rock's favorite pin-up boy, Conor Oberst, was interviewed by Billboard/Reuters this week, as the singer answered questions from a dive bar in Omaha. Amongst discussion of his latest LP, Cassadaga, out next month, the songster touches upon the hardships of being on the road, signing his first record deal and his firm stance against Clear Channel-owned Live Nation.
