It sounds like somebody is having a good ol' time down in Texas.ContactMusic reports that Gossip frontwoman, Beth Ditto, stripped down to her skivies at Austin's SXSW centre and later threw all her clothes and her wig, into the crowd!
Here's some more: Ditto was performing several tracks from their latest album STANDING IN THE WAY OF CONTROL, as well as an eclectic mix of covers such as TINA TURNER's WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT and NIRVANA's SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT. The unselfconscious singer happily removed her clothing and strode around in her black underwear during one song, with some female fans jumping on stage to join in the frolics with the lesbian band member. Ditto, announcing "sisterhood is powerful," told the NME afterwards: "It was great that there were lots of dykes in the audience tonight. It was also great to see some homoeroticism going on, as well as the 'normal people' getting their groove on."
