In the continuing saga of fake leaked albums circulating across the web, this morning's topic: Interpol.It seems as if someone has gone ahead and 'leaked' an album by Cut City, entitled Exit Decades, renaming it Interpol: Mammoth. Hmmm.
Upon further dissection, a la the band's MySpace page and my sources, it seems that Cut City is an Interpol-esque band based out of Sweden. However, they definitely sound more Longwave than Interpol to my naked ear.
Here's PopMatters review of Cut City's Exit Decades. They seem to like it.
Apparently, all of this fake album posting is becoming quite trendy, for lack of a better term. What do you make of all of it?
