My favorite discovery of the week would have to be New York's very own TV/TV. In addition to having one of the best press photos I've seen in quite some time (don't you agree?), the band's sound is a sort of wedding between Art Brut, The Anniversary (RIP), and a tad bit of early Weezer. My personal favorite of the tracks featured on the band's MySpace page would have to be 'Indie Rock Girl'. The lyrics are the just whimsical enough to provoke a giggle and just catchy enough to cause ample headswaying. Sounds up your alley? Then I suggest checking out one of their upcoming shows in and around the Big Apple.
