Try to imagine what would happen if a trio of Serge Gainsbourg-obsessed Parisian art students travelled across the Atlantic to form a band and win over the hearts of jaded New Yorkers hand over fist. Now open your eyes. That band you were picturing is Die Romantik.After playing a tremendously well-received residency at NYC's Pianos this past February, the band has completed work on their debut LP, Narcissist's Waltz, and we simply adore it. Equal parts Kings Of Convenience, French cafe, and Bright Eyes, The Music Slut gives Die Romantik a massive seal of approval.
