With a galaxy of love emerging from NPR, Village Voice, SXSW, NME, The Onion, The Tripwire, CMJ and an army of others, it seems as if The Music Slut would be committing a musical sin if we chose not to praise Brooklyn's up-and-coming 6-piece, White Rabbits, and their debut LP, Fort Nightly, released earlier this month. Luckily, we adore them as well.
White Rabbits have shared bills with Peter Bjorn & John, The Walkmen and Richard Swift over the last twelve months. Their sound is probably best described as a cross between Cold War Kids, The Strokes and The Coral. Equally catchy, jangly, and soulful, it's a spectacular debut.
White Rabbits will be touring across the country with UK buzzers, Mystery Jets. Check out those dates here on the band's MySpace page.
