The Scottish Ballet's upcoming show entitled Ride The Beast will premiere at the Edinburgh International Festival this summer and is scheduled to feature a handful of songs by none other than Radiohead. Here's more from choreographer Stephen Petronio, in an exclusive interview with The Herald.
"Radiohead's music is a brilliant investigation of achingly modern taste. They sail through genre and form effortlessly and passionately, and their music demands a physical response from me that by-passes reason. I have to live with music so intimately while creating with it, I simply have to work with music I love."
Songs included in the production are: 'Fitter Happier', 'Hunting Bears', 'Idioteque', 'The National Anthem' and an acoustic version of 'Creep'. Ride The Beast will be performed at the Edinburgh Playhouse from August 18 through 20.
