Moz Update: Reschedules Boston, Plays VA, Postpones B-More?

First things first, Bostonians - your new rescheduled date is this Saturday, July 7th. Enjoy.

As of this morning NYC, Philly and Northampton are still up in the air. A highly expected statement on cancellation, rescheduling, and/or potential new venues should be arriving sometime later today... hopefully.

Secondly, Moz was well enough to play last night's gig at Virginia's Wolf Trap. Here was the setlist: The Queen Is Dead / The Last Of The Famous International Playboys / You Have Killed Me / Disappointed / Ganglord / The National Front Disco / Let Me Kiss You / Girlfriend In A Coma / Everyday Is Like Sunday / All You Need Is Me / The Boy With The Thorn In His Side / Irish Blood, English Heart / I Will See You In Far Off Places / Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want / First Of The Gang To Die / That's How People Grow Up / I Just Want To See The Boy Happy / How Soon Is Now? // You're Gonna Need Someone On Your Side

Lastly, we are hearing word from the Moz-solo forum posters that tonight's show at Baltimore's Ram's Head has just been postponed. Read all about it here. We do not have confirmation of any such information, ourselves.

MP3: Morrissey - He Knows I'd Love To See Him

UPDATE: Following last night's performance at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Va., Morrissey was seen by an ear, nose, and throat specialist this morning in Washington, D.C. The doctor confirmed that Morrissey was still suffering from a viral infection that had caused the postponement of several shows last week, and that his throat had not healed. As a result he has ordered that Morrissey not sing again before the 7th of July at the earliest. Consequently, in addition to tonight's show in Baltimore, the scheduled concerts in Atlantic City, N.J. at The Borgata on the 5th of July and Holmdel, N.J. at PNC Bank Arts Center on the 6th of July have been postponed. An announcement will be made as soon as possible as to whether it is possible to reschedule any of these shows, and in the meantime ticket holders should maintain possession of their tickets. The tour is scheduled to recommence in Boston on the 7th of July at the Bank Of America Pavilion. (via TTY)
