Thao @ Masonic Temple: Hammer Time

Opening duties for last night's I'm From Barcelona gig came in the form of Kill Rock Stars signee, Thao Nguyen. Her well-received 40-minute set reminded me of KT Tunstall (minus the Scottish influence), Melissa Etheridge (minus the banality) & Cat Power (minus the stage fright).
