Apes & Androids and Totally Michael @ Bigg Ass Loft in Williamsburg on HALLOWEEN
God Bless Myopenbar.com. On Halloween they threw the most outrageous party I've ever been to - FOR FREE. The awesome Apes & Androids performed along with Totally Michael, 12 kegs of Bass Ale were tapped, which kept the FREE booze flowing until the final dreg around 1am, and a giant skull pinata was lowered from the ceiling into the crowd. There was live sex, fist fights, and fire marshal raids. Holy crap, it was fun.

Apes brought an industrial sized fog machine, holy shit.
David and Brian doing the 4 part harmony.
I've never seen AA before, but they were incredible. Not only are their songs fantastic and beautifully crafted, they also put so much thought into their performances, from lazers to giant blow-up aliens.
Destroying the Black Label pinata.
Totally Michael rocking out, dressed like a fairy with Kim of Matt and Kim (Matt was on the other side of the stage).

Celebrate Halloween with Apes & Androids
On the dl, dear readers, sometimes a girl's got to make some dough. So when Myopenbar.com asked me to help make their Halloween party awesome, I couldn't resist. Luckily, it came out pretty freaking cool. Not only is there free beer ALL NIGHT but I also scored one of my favourite local bands, the elusive Apes & Androids (they go on at 12:30am). Rsvp to Going.com/ripped to get in. I better see you there, dressed up and clutching a beer cup.
