Catch the Brits this autumn at:
Off With Their Heads is out on 10/13.
XFM reports: *Speaking at The Brit Awards 2008, where Kaiser Chiefs were nominated for an impressive three gongs, drummer and chief songwriter Nick Hodgson told XFM: "We've got a load of songs ready for the new album - we're busy playing them, rehearsing them and writing a load more. There's a big difference between these songs are our old stuff. It's definitely worth people getting excited about hearing these as they're are gonna be so different." Elsewhere a reliable XFM source close to Mark Ronson claimed that the award winning producer is set to produce the follow up to 2007's Yours Truly, Angry Mob.*

Here's the complete list:
Drummer Nick Hodgson declares: *“We’re looking for an underground–type producer for the new stuff. Soon too! Whether it’s a disc, download or dongle there will definitely be new songs coming out before our Isle Of Wight gig (in June). And that’s a quote. We deplore those successful bands who just sit in their mansions and take cocaine.”*
KC drummer Nick Hodgson shares the following quote with XFM: *"We're going to record (new songs) and then put them out... albums are a bit boring at the moment, but we'll consider that later... I honestly think it's our best song ever, but I'm not going to tell you what it's called. I'm really excited about the new ones because everyone who's heard them, basically in our crew, are going on about them and saying they're the best ones we've ever done... which is good."* Enjoy a Kaiser Chiefs MP3 below.
NME reports: *Apple, Peaches, Pixie, Blanket, Galileo, Moon Unit - it seems that when celebrities make decisions about what to call their offspring they either randomly reach for the dictionary and stick a pen in it, or just reach for the fruit bowl and hope for the best.
Here's the official statement: *"We'd like to apologise to fans in America and Canada, especially those who have already bought tickets, but something had to give. We've been extremely busy all year and had no time to focus on the future, we plan to have new material out as soon as possible and we've wanted to record all summer.
