Here's a snippet from this month's article: *He plucks like an old-timer, but don’t be fooled—despite his bullish, on-the-bayou finger-picking, Dodos guitarist Meric Long considers himself a relative newcomer to his craft. Long had almost eight years of guitar under his belt when he opened for bluesman Paul Curreri in L.A., but the experience brought him straight back to square one. “I had never seen anybody play like that,” he remembers.*
