The Rapture, RJD2 & Kinky Lend Songs To Adidas

Sportswear giant, Adidas, has joined forces with thirteen musical acts in order to create theme songs for a slew of MLS (Major League Soccer) teams. Many of the tracks chosen are remixes and/or rewrites of the originals, with sports terminology incorporated into the tune. Of the project, The Rapture declares: "We love soccer. We love New York. It makes sense. Anything we can do to help Juan Pablo Angel score more goals." Their hit 'Whoo! Alright, Yeah... Uh Huh', which features the now-famous line 'People don't dance no more/They just stand there like this' has had its lyrics changed for the compilation to: 'You people can't score no more / You just stand there like this / You cross your arms and stare around / And whinge and moan and diss!' YIKES! Full track listing below. Learn more about the partnership here. What are your thoughts on this one?

RJD2 Works It Out In New Clip

See below for RJD2's new video to The Third Hand's tune, 'Work It Out'. Learn more about RJD2 here at their MySpace page. Here's a thorough description of the clip:

*The vid features Bill Shannon who was born with a degenerative hip condition. His legs cannot carry his own weight and so he has lived a life on crutches. He has developed a new way of moving through life on his skateboard and the crutches. Though this may look like a recreational hobby or a debilitation, it is simply how Bill maneuvers throughout the day. In time to Rjd2's song "Work It Out" we follow Bill as he makes his way around. At the slow start, Bill is descending the courthouse steps in downtown Brooklyn. It's difficult, but he makes it down and the rest you'll just have to watch to understand. Rjd2 plays several extras which you can try to spot as well.*
