DFA's latest signee, Shocking Pinks (Nick Harte), has remixed tracks from Deerhunter, The Glimmers, Arkitype, & Eluvium just to name a few. Shocking Pinks' own sound is a sort of cross-breed between Jesus & The Mary Chain, The Juan MacLean and early Magnetic Fields (if you can believe it). His DFA/Astralwerks eponymous debut - out on September 25th - is actually a compilation of tunes from his earlier New Zealand-only efforts.
