Robbie's Mum Says Take That Reunion 'Will Happen'

Jan Williams, Robbie's mom, tells Stoke Sentinal newspaper the following when asked about Robbie's possible reunion with the pop band: "On the question of him doing something with them, I feel that will happen...

It would be something he wanted to do."

Furthermore, she adds: "He's okay, he's fine, he's on a good recovery... He's doing a lot of writing, he spends a lot of time in his studio. He's in a very good place."

Take That - The Musical!

Via NME: Take That are to create a musical around their songs. The show, called 'Never Forget', will tell the fictional tale of a Take That tribute band and include the Number One singles 'Relight My Fire', 'Back For Good' and 'Pray'.

The story was created by Danny Brocklehurst, who has worked on'Shameless' and 'Clcoking Off'. In a statement, it is described as a "feelgood comedy about love, friendship, ambition and betrayal". Producer Tristan Baker said: "We are the biggest fans of Take That's music and we are so excited about the wonderful opportunity to create a new musical based on the fantastic catalogue of their work.

"We are looking forward to creating a legacy with these well loved songs in the way that shows such as 'Mamma Mia!' have done before." The musical will be staged at Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff, Glasgow's King's Theatre, Manchester's Opera House, Regent Theatre in Stoke-On-Trent and Edinburgh's Playhouse before going to London's West End, reports BBC News.

Take that! And party!

News just in for the Robbie Williams-less, slightly chubbier 90s phenomenon...

Take That top both UK charts - for the first time in their career!

Yup, Barlow and the boys have managed to do something that eluded them back in their heydey; from the BBC:

Pop group Take That have topped the UK singles and album charts simultaneously for the first time in their career. The reformed band's song Patience remained the number one single for the second week, while Beautiful World entered at one on the albums countdown.

Barlow is reported as describing it as "like a fairytale".

In other UK chart news, the Fron Male Voice Choir made it into the top ten with Voices of the Valley

Ah; the UK. Land of the Beatles and Oasis. And Take That.
