The Streets frontman had this to say on today's official blog post: *I went to see Madonna last night. I have to say, even though the leotards have deeply upset me in recent years, that lady can jump. Now I am pretty healthy on stage. I bounce and box a bit, but despite how fun it appears, a good solid crowd surf on a decent sized throng is knackering. It's a bit like wrestling, it looks a bit wussy, but when you get locked into tense bodily antagonism and it lasts for more than a minute or so it's fucking draining as fuck. Anyway, Madonna. Me and Johnny often argue over who has burnt the most amount of calories on stage but I don't think either of us burn it like Mrs. Lock Stock and two camp ducks backing her up.*Visit The Streets on MySpace.

Madonna vs. Animal Rights Activists, Again
The Daily Telegraph reports: *MADONNA has horrified animal activists after dyeing her sheep blue, pink, yellow and green for a Vogue spread at their English country estate, in Wiltshire. Madonna, 49, and husband Guy Ritchie, 39, insisted the dye used was temporary and did not harm the animals but an online report on music-news.com has said that the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) stated that even though the dye may be safe for the animals those who copy this stunt might not be so careful. An RSPCA spokesperson said: "Why is it necessary and what are they trying to prove? It is an irresponsible publicity stunt. It sends out the wrong message about how to use animals." Here's a snippet from a Q&A with Bloc Party's Kele Okereke, as lifted from Metromix Chicago.What surprised you most about playing at Live Earth 2007?
Madonna coming into our dressing room because she's a super-huge fan. Our tour manager is this guy from Scotland that doesn't know much about popular culture and popular music. So when she came in, he alerted security and security dragged her out. They had her head in a headlock, and they were putting her out of the dressing room. It was really surreal, and everyone stopped speaking. And the only thing we could hear is Madonna cursing and saying she's gonna kill these guys.
Did you say Madonna was in a headlock?
Yeah. She's really tough because of the pilates that she does. She got out of the headlock quite easily. And some of her people came along and told the security guards off, but she was so pissed off at that point when I went to tell her that I was a huge fan of hers she completely freaked out & told me to get the hell away from her. And that was all in the space of like 10 minutes backstage at Live Earth.
Maybe you should dress up as her on stage to make things right.
You know, if she asks. I'm pretty sure if she didn't ask she'd be completely pissed off, and she'd completely freak out. I've already seen that she has a temper on her. To be honest, I don't feel like putting myself in the situation because I'm quite a skinny guy compared to the two security guards.

Rumor Of The Day: Gogol Bordello/Madonna Duet?
So claims NME.The British mega-mag is reporting that the two will join forces this Saturday at Live Earth @ Wembley Stadium. The song on which they will they collaborate is anybody's guess (although here's hoping for 'Like A Prayer'!).
