Oooh, is that harsh?I'm actually proud of the both of them. Billboard just reported that The Rolling Stones are the highest grossing act of the year, bringing in an unfathomable $437 million in twelve months (fyi, their A Bigger Bang tour is also the largest-grossng tour EVER). Madonna finished up second with $195 million in revenue, making her Confessions tour the top-grossing tour ever by a female artist.
Kudos to both! Others in the top 10 largest tours of the year included U2, Cirque De Soleil and the Tim McGraw/Faith Hill double bill (yeehaw!).
