OASIS star NOEL GALLAGHER delighted a fan last week (01DEC06) when he played an intimate gig in his living room. The WONDERWALL rocker treated BEN HAYES and 15 friends to a brief acoustic set after the fan won a competition on British radio station Radio 1. Gallagher performed HALF THE WORLD AWAY, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING IDLE and DON'T LOOK BACK IN ANGER before signing autographs in the fan's Cheshire, England home. Hayes says, "It was just absolutely amazing. It was just unreal. "He was just sat in my lounge, playing three songs. It was just the best day of my life - so far."
