Thom's Xmas Wish: No Fluff!

Yikes! Seems like all the 'From The Basement' buzz, and excitement about LP #7 is perhaps, pissing off Thom Yorke. He posted the following blurb on Dead Air Space this weekend.

"The session features solo performances of "Videotape" and "Down Is The New Up" - two new tracks from the forthcoming Radiohead album, due to be released in 2007." Oh really? Says who? They obviously know more than i do myself. We don't know what will make it to the record, neither do they, neither do you. It drives me nuts the way people take it upon themselves to fluff stuff up like this. I just played a couple of songs on piano that happened to be ones that the band were working on at the time. And that was quite a while ago now. Sheesh. ANyway.......................................... We are taking a break now starting up again in jan. Have a good christmas everyone, if you celebrate it that is, love peace and hope for the future x Thom

If 'Videotape' doesn't make it to the next album, I will be so sad as it's by far my favorite new track. Oh well, at least we still have the live versions and the aforementioned 'Basement' version to enjoy.
