Oh no! HITS is reporting that tomorrow the annual Grammy nominees album will make its way onto iTunes and into retail stores. The album includes the hits from: Gnarls Barkley, Mary J. Blige, Corinne Bailey Rae, John Mayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Justin Timberlake, Dixie Chicks, Carrie Underwood, Christina Aguilera, KT Tunstall, James Blunt, Daniel Powter, Death Cab for Cutie, Black Eyed Peas, The Fray, Keane and more. I didn't even realize Death Cab was nominated for anything this year! Maybe the Grammy committee is trying to market this year's CD to a younger age bracket than years past. Who knows?
HITS also claims that: This year's compilation will come out via Sony BMG's Commercial Music Group, with a portion of the proceeds from the sale to benefit MusiCares Foundation and the Grammy Foundation.
Alright, that should count for something!
