Final Fantasy Remixes Stars

Last month we told you about a remix album of Stars' brilliant '05 release, Set Yourself On Fire, officially out in May. The project, entitled Do You Trust Your Friends? features a myriad of remixes, all done with precision and grace.

As you might have imagined, after an advance listening to the full record, my favorite remix is the one Final Fantasy has generated for Set Yourself On Fire opening track, 'Your Ex-Lover Is Dead'.

Complete with violin, piano, and more than a handful of whim, Owen Pallett's take on the Stars track is delightful, airy and phantasmic - giving it a sort of ballroom dance vibe which I adore.
