The Smiths - Work Is A Four Letter Word

This Smiths tune was a B-Side to the UK version of the 'Girlfriend In A Coma' single, as well as the B-side to 'Sweet & Tender Hooligan'. Often regardeded as Johnny Marr's least favorite Smiths track, he said the following in an interview with CNN last year: "Work Is a Four Letter Word" I hated. That was the last straw, really. I didn't form a group to perform Cilla Black songs."

(Yes, if you didn't know, the ditty is a cover.)

That said, with a sentiment nearly everyone can relate to, the song usually falls amongst Smiths/Moz fans' favorite oddity (sorry Johnny). I happen to fall into that category as well. I suggest playing this one at the office and giving mysterious glares to your co-workers and/or boss.
