Seems like Jen's favorite artist of the moment and my favorite artist of the moment have joined forces. Hallelujah.The always fantastic, Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before, has some info on the collaboration between Patrick Wolf & Mika, and even (sadly) informs us that it probably won't get a proper release as it's only intended for promo purposes.
Wondering exactly what the duet is? Well, Patrick Wolf has taken Mika's 'Love Today' and totally reworked it while keeping the original sentiment of the song intact. The end result is a sort of dirty electro pop masterpiece, complete with Mika's falsetto and Patrick Wolf's intense laptop/keyboard twiddling; something you'd hear while dancing at 2am unbeknownst, on a Saturday night at Studio B.
