Jay Drake didn't need an introduction. He just got up there and did his thing. And from where I was standing, it was awesome.
After the set, he bought me a shot of whisky. Rock on.
Jay showed up sans his lighting specialist. AKA, the boy in the corner with the laptop. But I am pretty sure I saw him in the audience taking pictures. I hate to say it, but I think the show was the better for it. There was less distraction and more focus on Jay and his music.
Rachael of Underrated was there.
As was the lovely Jinners.
